The Visual Arts Capitol of Texas Mural Festival celebrates the bold spirit of West Texas through color, creativity, and community.

This invite-only event brings together twelve talented muralists from across the state, including artists from San Angelo, San Antonio, Austin, La Marque, and Fort Worth, to transform The Art Yard at Art in Uncommon Places into a living gallery.

This year’s theme, “Cowboys and Creatives,” honors the harmony between Texas grit and artistic expression. Visitors are invited to watch live mural painting, meet the artists, and experience the process of large-scale public art in real time.
