"Faith in the face of adversity."

This project with Murfit Fitness Club was a creative milestone for Soup — conceptually rich, logistically complex, and deeply meaningful. Inspired by the classical style of Giovanni Bellini, Soup used this opportunity to blend timeless storytelling with contemporary street art techniques.

Beyond the technical challenge, this mural offered something more: genuine collaboration. Working closely with Blake from Murfit was a highlight — his positivity made every day on-site feel like something to look forward to. The connection formed during this project was so real, Soup admitted it felt strange not seeing Blake at the end of each workday once it wrapped.

These two large-scale murals — Daniel in the Lion’s Den and David and Goliath — stand as bold testaments to resilience, strength, and faith. Created with spray paint, they represent not only a stylistic evolution in Soup’s work but also a heartfelt collaboration between artist, client, and community.

Special thanks to Christie Kaye for art direction and project support, and to Murfit Fitness Club for trusting Soup with their vision.
