Jeremy Sochan has not only left the Spurs locker room but also the walls of the famous Spurs mural at Rudy's Seafood.

The former Spurs forward was replaced by small forward Keldon Johnson, who now greets diners at the doors to the South Side seafood restaurant. The Spurs waived Sochan last Wednesday.

"We just wanted to give credit (where) credit is due," said muralist Nik Soupe via text about the Johnson homage. "Sixth Man of the Year? From Pop to Mitch… his contributions to the team (are) awesome to watch."

Soupe has immortalized dozens of Spurs players past, present and in some cases future at Rudy's with his pre-draft murals of Spurs great Victor Wembanyama and Spurs rookie Dylan Harper. The new Johnson mural sports the 2019 Spurs pick's present look.

"He bulked up a bit since the last one," Soupe said, "and then the haircut. Had to give him an upgrade."
